The HEMAsavR™ device is a sterile, economical, shed blood capture and transfer device that supports and simplifies efforts to safely capture, anti-coagulate and salvage shed blood in most surgical procedures, including maternity and trauma departments, to respond quickly to both anticipated and unanticipated blood loss, making this blood available for delayed processing with any cell saver device. The upfront costs associated with shed blood collection can now be reduced, creating options to improve outcomes and avoid allogeneic transfusions.
