The HemCon ChitoPulse™ is a haemostatic radial compression device indicated for all trans-radial procedures requiring vascular closure. The incorporated haemostatic chitosan patch promotes haemostasis and rapid control of bleeding following radial catheterization, sheath removal, haemodialysis, and even in patients on anticoagulation therapy.  The chitosan patch also has antibacterial barrier properties against a wide range of microorganisms, making it safer to discharge patients’ home with. The ChitoPulse is available in small, medium, and large sizes.
